Welcome to our website.
Cavat Theatre Arts has over 300 pupils attending from all over the borough of Croydon from two and half years old to adults.
The school was founded by Jean Aslett in 1987 teaching just modern and tap. The school has expanded and now offers drama, LAMDA Speech and Drama, singing, ballet, modern, jazz and tap classes.
The School is now run by Caroline Aslett who originally trained at The Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London and went onto a varied career in the entertainment world such as pop videos, cruise ships, cabarets, UK tours and pantomimes.
Children from Cavat have appeared in professional pantomimes "Aladdin" and "Peter Pan" at the Ashcroft Theatre in Croydon. Other shows our pupils have participated in include "Jimmy Cricket & friends" "42nd Street", "The Music Man", "Irene", "Hansel & Gretel" with the Surrey Opera and various "Younger Generation" Shows.
We have recently launched our own agency.
